At our events that are open to all we aim to provide a safe space where queer people and allies can hang out in a safe atmosphere.

Queercafé
At the Queercafé, you can just drop by to meet new people over a cup of coffee or tea.
You can have a nice chat and find out about the latest events, browse the library, or just flip through our magazines.
Coffee, tea, and snacks are free!
Plenary
We meet every first Wednesday of the month from 7 pm to reflect on past events and plan new ones. The plenum is an unofficial organ of the Queerreferat alongside the general meeting and the board.
- The plenum is responsible for organising operations and events for the coming month.
- It is a platform for involving our visitors in fundamental and important decisions. The plenum also has far-reaching decision-making powers due to its long tradition. The organisers and the Executive Board consider themselves bound by the decisions of the plenum and only deviate from them in extraordinary cases, and then only with justification.
- Transparency towards the members is promoted through monthly reporting. Occasional visitors and newcomers can find out here in which other areas the Queerreferat is involved.

Movie Night
At movie night, we get together and watch a movie with (usually) queer themes.
The films on offer range from documentaries to comedies. The films are mainly shown with the original language in english and, if desired and possible, with subtitles in German or English.
Boardgame Night
At boardgame night, we get together to play board games. We have a large collection, ranging from Werewolf to Wingspan. But feel free to bring your own favorite games, too!
Talks & Workshops
We regularly host talks and workshops, mostly on queer and feminist topics.
test²multiply
In cooperation with the Fachstelle Sexualität und Vielfalt e.V. we regularly offer the opportunity to get tested for HIV, hepatitis C, and syphilis for €5.
No registration beforehand is needed. It should be at least 12 weeks after your last risky contact so that the test can be reliable. After 15 minutes you will have your results.
